Lakers Reload for 2011-12 Championship Run

The 2011-12 Oswego State Lakers have two goals this season, win their ninth SUNYAC title and return to the Frozen Four for the third straight year. The Lakers return an all-star lineup of 20 upper classmen and add eight new faces that will bring a new dimension of size and skill to a team ranked second in pre-season polls. Here's a quick preview of this year's team.

Key Returners:

F - Ian Boots (A): 40 points (15 goals, 25 assists), First Team All-SUNYAC
F - Jon Whitelaw (A): 30 points (12 goals, 18 assists)
F - Andrew Mather (C): 28 points (8 goals, 20 assists)
D - Hank Van Boxmeer: 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists) in 18 games last season
G - Paul Beckwith: 2.04 GAA, First Team All-American

New Faces:

F- RJay Berra: Fr. (5-10, 190), Grande Prairie Storm
F - Chris Carr: Fr. (5-10, 175), Burlington Cougars
F - Eli Kim-Swallow: Fr. (5-10, 185), St. Michael's Buzzers
